Grand Reunion - General Topics

This is a "catch-all" posting for anything that doesn't fit in the other categories.

Agenda for the Day

This is George's initial proposal. Let's discuss and tweak where necessary, before I post on the main blog.

2. St Joe visit: 10.30am. Will be school hols so I think have to get permission from the principal to tour the place.
3. Lunch 12.30pm: the Spring shopping centre food court.
4. Afternoon activities: Shopping at the Spring [Kuching's newest shopping centre], or go for a movie at the newest cineplex MDO at the Spring, or for those more adventurous can go for a massage or foot reflexology.
5. Grand Reunion Dinner: 7pm
6. 11pm - adjourn to Victoria's arms .... or Vicky's or Vixy's or whoever ... LOL.

Among other things, we need to decide:

*   What games can you guys suggest ? (no bapau, Anthony !)

*   What preparation is required ?

*   What game prizes ?

*   Any lucky draw at the end ?

Grand Reunion - Journey Down Memory Lane

We should put together a video presentation of old pictures showcasing our journey from the 1970s to 2009.

Grand Reunion - Entertainment & Souvenirs

This post is only for discussions related to entertainment & souvenirs for the Grand Reunion.

ENTERTAINMENT

*   What ideas does the team have ?
*   What do 50 years olds like (beside the obvious) ?
*   How much time for entertainment ?

SOUVENIRS

*   Dato' AM, your great idea of the front page still holds ?
*   St Joe school badge would be nice (most have lost theirs)
*   Group photo
*   DVD of scenes from the evening (to be sent later)
*   Booklet with excerpts from the blog

Grand Reunion - Food & Drinks

This posting is for food-related discussions for the Grand Reunion. I guess beside the joy of meeting up with old buddies, we all want to eat well. Not in excess, but well nonetheless. This posting will host conversations on such topics as:

*   What delicious food are we gonna have on the night ?

*   Is it western or asian or intrnational or other ?

*   How much will the food cost & how do we get the best deal ?

*   Are special dietary requirements catered for ?

and many others ....
